VILLAGE GROVE HOMEOWNER’S MEETING
April 19, 2007
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the clubhouse by President Kathy Morgan. A huge heart felt thanks to Maria & Ron Sanchez for all the extra effort hey put forth in helping to make our community great! Many thanks to all the board members and homeowners who actively participate in the daily maintenance, preservation and beautification of our precious property, Village Grove! Keep up the great work! A special salute to all those members who have held this organization up over the past 10 years!

OLD BUSINESS:
1. Robert has fixed the Intercom System in the Security Booth. Anyone wishing to establish their pone connection to admit people through the gate should contact Robert.
2. We are getting quotes on the cost of having the roof tiles, staircases, walkways and driveways power washed and will have for the next meeting.
3. Robert and Kathy met with Servano, our Landscape designer. We have voted and agreed to act upon the following items. Kathy will let Servano know that we would love to have the work completed by the end of April!
A). 2 fifteen gallon Crape Myrtles (single trunk trees) will be planted in open areas of the courtyard at the cost of $180.00
B). 2 or 3 boulders will be established to aesthetically Cover the metal casing of the irrigation system. Estimated cost $500.00
C). the planting of one flat English Ivy, at the cost of $19.50
D). the planting of 2 Five Gallon Geraniums at the cost of $16.00. Servao has permission to buy more if needed at $8.00 each.
E). the removal of Red Apple bushes and tall plants in the upper level planters at Condo’s, cap off all 4” pop up heads, and replant with 26 Iceberg Roses and 3-4” of mulch. Six to seven sprinklers will be installed to connect black tubing. The black tubing will be installed under mulch with an emitter to each new plant. Total cost of $1,780.00
F). total landscape projects estimated cost $2,495.50G). remove primer paint form Alder tree in front of Condo #5.
4. Robert said that the Village Grove Website should be up and available within 48 hours! He will email us the URL when it is ready!
5. Kathy will be getting quotes on the plastic covering for the open spaces of the subterranean parking garage.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Robert met will Jill and went over the financial history of the Village Grove HOA. We are all excited to have a fresh new look and approach to our budget and financial planning. He established that we will meet next week to discuss the financial status of Village Grove. Meeting time to be announced.
2. Kathy has Jill looking into replacement costs for a new gate in the subterranean parking garage. We will get quotes on a replacement gate and alternative options.
3. We will also find out if the front gates can be activated through dialing our numbers in the security booth. If so we agree that this convenience should be established.
4. The removal of the Sycamore tree by the clubhouse and other cosmetic projects will be discussed following our budget meeting.
5. The HOA meeting in May will take place on May 15th, the third Tuesday of the month. We have made this adjustment in order that Ron Sanchez will be present to introduce himself to the HOA. Ron is a huge asset to our community and we look forward to thanking him in person for that all he brings to our table!
