The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the clubhouse by President Kathy Morgan.

A huge heart felt thanks to Maria & Ron Sanchez for all the extra effort hey put forth in helping to make our community great!  Many thanks to all the board members, homeowners and renters who actively participate in the daily maintenance, preservation and beautification of our precious property, Village Grove!  Keep up the great work!

OLD BUSINESS:

1.        The Rose Garden, Crepe Myrtles and Geraniums have all been planted and look fabulous!  The graffiti has been removed from the front of the tree marked for removal in front of Bill Lang’s unit.  The back still needs to be done.

2.       Robert’s creation of the Village Grove website is magnificent!  One can currently reserve the clubhouse, review the HOA minutes and email Jill at Brockman with any concerns.  Soon their will be bulletin boards to post things such as services rendered or needed, items for sale and general community communications!  Great work Robert!

3.       The subterranean garage gate is now operable form long distance!  No more having to get out of the car to open the gate!

NEW BUSINESS:

1.     Cement work on the walk way coming from the guest parking up to the pool  will be taken care of on Monday May 21 by Kendel Construction who has done work here before to the tune of $450.00

2.       Kathy is calling 20th Century Wrought Iron to set an appointment to meet with them to show them the work we want done.

3.       Ron is checking into brick and chicken coverings for the window areas of the subterranean garage.  He is also looking into planting a Palm Tree with lighting near the pool area for a beautiful cosmetic appeal for all to enjoy.  He is looking into cleaning the gutters out and will be draining the canal at some point in order to properly repair the broken stones throughout.

4.       We will have a private meeting to discuss the termite issue.

5.       Kathy is getting estimates for the pool repairs and expansion.

6.       We discussed the possibility of having new paint lines in parking garage.

7.       It was discussed the green carpet be pulled up in front of Units #1-3.

8.       Barry brought up the need to remove the dead tree behind 5447.  Servano can use the bark for the Rose Garden.

9.       Bill will post Memorial Day BBQ sign up list at both Mail Box stations

.10.   One more Crepe Myrtle will be planted to cover the only exposed irrigation chute.

11.   We discussed placing silk plants around the cemented area yet exposed by the pool area.  Ron received the OK to purchase the lights necessary to finish the walkway lighting project.  10 lights at $50 each.  Ron was also taking a cushion to see what his mother would charge to recover the clubhouse furniture.  We will be painting the clubhouse and putting in new lighting.

12.   The sewer drain needs to be snaked for it is collecting water.

Frances Bermudez was the WINNER of a $25.00 gift certificate to the Corner Bakery!  Congratulations to Frances.
