Minutes from Village Grove HOA Board Meeting
Monday, March 21, 2022
- Meeting started 6:30 PM
- In attendance: Tammy, Dorian, Stephanie, Bill, and Sid
- Elevator service contract and repair quotes were discussed. All three bids were reviewed and voted on. Unanimous vote to end contract with current elevator company and begin new 3-year contract with Liftech for repairs and maintenance.
- Tammy will contact Alyceanne regarding if there is an option for a month-to-month service after the three-year contract. Tammy will also ask Alyceanne to inquire about holding the price if we want to wait until August to do the work.
- Unanimous vote of “no” regarding Rick doing the elevator floors
- April 1: pool furniture set up and cleaned by the porters (we need to request this)
- May 1: pool heater turned on; This will be revisited at the beginning of April (weather permitting, pool heater may be turned on earlier)
- Time for spring cleaning: walk-through planned for Saturday, April 30 at 9:30 AM. Sid will make and post signs inviting all residents to join the board members.
- Update on pillar: The plans have been signed and sent to the city and we are awaiting feedback.
- Charlie from Crown is waiting for the inspector to be on site.
- Posted signs for deliveries and visitors: leave for now and wait for feedback; Tammy will show Rick where to place signs.
- Woodwork: unanimous vote of “yes” to Larry the wood guy doing the work.
- The wood window ledge for unit #33 look like the wood is severely damaged. Sid will take a picture and email it to Alyceanne.
- We need to let the townhomes know that we will be commencing with repairs and we will need access to their outdoor space (gates need to be left unlocked).
- Question came up if unit #7 and unit #8 can be asked to keep their window blinds closed so they do not encourage peeping toms. The HOA can only enforce the color of the window coverings, but cannot enforce them being drawn.
- The electric guy will start lighting on Tuesday, March 22.
- Gardeners still have not given a quote on bark; we need a proposed start date ASAP.
- There is another leak in the garage. Rick met with Cory regarding the valves.
- Stephanie will ask Rick to get rid of the TV in the clubhouse.
- Meeting adjourned at 7:30 PM.
