Meeting at the 28th day after the notification of the proposed BBQ policy. Attendance sheet attached.
Couple owners arrived without having read the documents & requested a summary. Board instead provided 3 copies of the policy for them to read.
Some concern over the $1 million writer policy required. Couple suggested reducing it to $500,000.
Several commented that the ‘board was trying to take everything away from them’, but the board explained that a policy was missing from our rules and regulations and was needed. The board also is following California regulations as well as insurance and attorney recommendations.
Board agreed to take inconsideration reducing the amount on the insurance policy. Owner Carol from Centralia Street Townhomes agreed that she would investigate what the increase in cost would be to her personal insurance if she had such a policy created and report back to the board through Brockman properties.
